The workshop Water-Smart Management of Bathing Areas via Digitalisation aims to promote innovative monitoring and modelling solutions for bathing water management and to highlight the latest developments in the field. The event will explore relevant digital tools for the safe management of bathing water sites and will discuss policy options for the ongoing revision of the Bathing Water Directive (BWD).

The workshop will be co-hosted by Water Europe and digital-water.city, iBathWater and Sinergea and it is relevant for bathing water researchers, administration or private initiatives, laboratories, users and developers of digital solutions and smart city initiatives.
